When and Where: Friday, September 18th and Saturday, September 19th at Moving Parts Dance in Olympia (302 Columbia St NW, Olympia, WA 98501).
Cost: Free! Donations are welcome but not required.
What're we doin': This is a 24 hour project where we are creating movement in community to be shown as our experiences with grieving. You do not have to be a "dancer" to participate. If you are interested in diving in and exploring movement in a unique and thoughtful way, this is a great opportunity to explore that. All experience levels are welcome. Accommodations and accessibility will be prioritized with movement. Grief with a variety of situations will be explored.
Timeline:
- Friday, September 18th 5pm-7pm - Dance Workshop and Grief Exploration
- Saturday, September 19th 2pm-5pm - Movement Crafting, an hour dinner break after, and show at 7pm
- Anyone is welcome to attend the showing on Saturday the 19th at 7pm.
